Six Cents Events is not your average event planning company. Based in Broward County, Nicole Penny and Six Cents Events have been helping brides and families all over South Florida make their dreams come true for 10 years. Whether it’s an intimate wedding for 30 or a fun and fanciful reception for 300, we can help you make it happen. Six Cents is always working hard to recreate many of the beautiful, high cost event trends in ways that the average client can afford.  We work hard to keep clients on budget, direct them to great vendors and help them make their event stress free.  We offer several different levels of service, from partial to full service, as well as a-la-carte assistance.  Our company also prides itself on the ability to provide one-stop shopping for all your event needs.  Let us do the leg work so that your event will be stress free. A Little About Nicole

Nicole Penny is one of the most creative and hands on event planners in our area.  While she is best known for her ability to re-create top dollar event details at a fraction of the price, her warm personality and attention to every event detail are both traits that come in a close second.  Nicole’s ability to organize and budget even the most complacent clients has helped her create years of successful events and happy customers.  A former Silver Knight winner for creativity and theatre, Nicole works hard to make sure each event sparkles with that little "something" that makes it both memorable and unique.

A graduate of Florida International University, Nicole’s introduction to event planning began in college as a server in a local restaurant where she was given the task of setting up and overseeing the large parties.  It soon became apparent that she had a flair for event work.  When it came time for large events held by family and friends, Nicole was always able to help them achieve the exact look or style they were hoping for, all the while saving them money.  When it came time for her own wedding she found her creative passion and love of events was truly her calling. While she simply enjoyed planning these events her interest in event planning grew and it was at the urging of her husband that she started Six Cents Events in 2008. Now, Nicole enjoys planning innovative and creative events throughout South Florida. She continues to maintain her budget-savvy ways as she creates spectacular events.

Aside from event planning, Nicole also has a penchant for promotional events and has used her abilities to assist several small businesses with their marketing and promotional needs.  When she is not working, you can often find Nicole spending time with her husband and two miniature pinschers or volunteering for local animal rescues. Most often though, she is working on new ideas and ways to Plan the event of your dreams.. with change left over!
